We
Are
Saint Martin of Tours is a Roman
Catholic Elementary School for children in grades Pre-Kindergarten
to Eighth Grade. Our school day begins at 7:55AM, with regular
dismissal at 2:40PM. Students are required to be in the schoolyard
by 7:45AM. Classes for all students are full day.
Under the
supervision of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
and the dedicated lay faculty of Saint Martin of Tours, our students
experience a faith-centered scholastic life, enhanced by Prayer,
Para-liturgies and Special Devotions.
SMT admits students
of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all of the rights,
privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made
available to our students. The school does not discriminate on the
basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the
administration of our educational policies, admission policy, or in
any school-administered program.
Our educational
policies are encouraged, supported and affirmed by the Office of
Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and by our
Middle States Accreditation. Every year, many of our students excel
academically and are recipients of numerous scholarships and awards.

Additional Programs
Advanced Math for
qualifying students in Grades 5-8, Math Tutoring for Grades 4 and 5,
CORA and Title 1 for Remedial Math and Reading, Beacon
Program, Speech Therapy, School and Guidance Counselors, Educational
Field Trips, Choir and Junior Choir, Music Lessons, ESL Program,
Family Liaison, Learning Support Center.
SMT has a very
active CYO Program providing service opportunities, spiritual
formation and exciting athletics. Parish children are welcomed to
join in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, swimming
and cheerleading. Dances are offered once a month during the school
year.
Saint Martin of
Tours students participate in many Community Outreach Programs
designed to foster a greater sense Christian social justice.
Students contribute money to various charitable endeavors, as well
as, sending holiday notes, cards and flowers to parish “shut-ins.”
Easter flowers are also delivered to parish families who have lost a
loved one during the year.
Saint Martin’s Home
and School Association also sponsors many family oriented activities
throughout the school year.
